- Hispanas Organized for Political Equality (HOPE)

Each year the program sponsors young women from the Central Valley
to visit the State Capitol for Latina Action Day. The mentorship
program includes Government Institutes where participants are exposed to
topics ranging from county, state and federal government to issues affecting
Latina women

Luncheons are held bi-monthly at various locations around Kern
County with key note speakers on topics that impact Latinas.
